The Falcon’s View Just Got Sharper

A new direction. Five powerful pillars. One goal: Help business owners scale with clarity, not chaos.

🧙️ TODAY'S FLIGHT PATH

Intro: Today’s flight path is focused and foundational. I’m breaking down the new direction for The Falcon’s View, including its value proposition, content pillars, and why I believe this shift will help you lead with more clarity by seeing what others miss.

Here’s the new value proposition for The Falcon’s View:

If you’ve been following me on LinkedIn, you already know I let a pretty big shift out of the bag.

The Falcon’s View just went through a complete transformation.

New value prop. Five new content pillars. And yes, it’s now a much longer read.

The rough draft for next week? Five pages. And I’m not cutting it down (well, maybe). Why?

Because every section delivers value to business owners who are serious about becoming owners in every sense of the word, not just operators with a fancy title or those who want to carry around the tax form that says they are a business owner.

Here’s the story behind the shift.

Over the past 22 weeks, I’ve tested tone, tools, and topics. I added worksheets. Asked AI to help. Even leaned into my research-nerd instincts. But something still felt off.

The truth? I lost the spark. Writing became a grind. And when it feels like a grind, I begin thinking this time wasn’t worth it.

So I went hunting. Like stray-dog-scavenger-level hunting. That’s when I found Chenell Basilio, Matt McGarry, and a cohort session with Matthew Brown and Daniel Bustamante. They didn’t just drop newsletter tips. They helped me see the real issue:

My value proposition wasn’t clear. Even to me.

That changed fast. The pit in my stomach? Gone. Replaced by something I hadn’t felt in weeks:

Excitement!

Look, there’s a time and place for 60-second posts and quote-sized takeaways. But when it comes to scaling a business, snippets don’t cut it. Not when you're deciding how to hire, structure your team, delegate without disaster, or shift your entire business model.

You need the surrounding context. The back story. You need to see the whole picture. And you need an analysis you can apply, not just admire. I’m not concerned with providing you with vanity or one-liners you can blast on social media.

That’s what these five new content pillars will give you:

Founder Letters & Operating Principles → I decode the gap between what an owner says and how their company actually runs.

Org Charts & Role Clarity → I can spot hidden friction points in a team faster than most people notice them.

Internal SOPs & Handbooks → These are the engines of freedom, and building them doesn’t mean the owner has a clear direction.

Strategic Decks & Pitches → I thrive at finding the gaps between vision and execution.

Upper management & CXO Job Postings → These aren’t just hires, they’re signals of overwhelm. I know that pressure personally.

Every post will be long if it needs to be. Every post will be written for one reason: to help business owners step fully into their role and own the path forward.

No fluff. No filler. Just fire. Ok, so maybe my fingers are crossed. Let me know where or if I miss the mark.

The goal? Every edition should feel like a mini masterclass, not a motivational quote. Something you save, not just skim.

Let’s keep soaring higher together,

Nick
