🦅 Nick here! Let’s get started on another great week.
Too many times do I hear, “You are too difficult to buy for!” Not this year… Slide something on this list to your loved one, so they get you something to help you get to the next level.
I’m testing my newsletter-building skills on this one with all the pictures and all, so laugh with me. 😀

GIFTS TO SHOW SUPPORT
Who doesn’t want to feel seen, heard, and understood about why you choose to be a business owner?
This week, we are taking a little break to look at nine ideas for Christmas gifts with you in mind. They are broken into three categories of productivity, recovery, and fun.
Enjoy the list, and let me know what you would add. Let’s GO!

Productivity
#1 Leatherman Wave:

Let’s be honest… You are the owner, and not the handy repairman. I get that you still want to be helpful, but if the repair requires more than this tool for the job, call someone else in.
I’ve had a Wave since 1998, two replaced under warranty, and I won’t switch to anything else.

A dry-erase calendar coming in at 4’ wide and 3’ tall…. Count me in! One way to get out of the firefighting mode is to know what is coming. This includes scheduled fun.
See the year all at once and at a quick glance, so you know what is coming and can look forward to the fun stuff.
#3 Ka’chava:

Everyone’s diet could be a little better, and you know you are going to work long hours, so let’s be better prepared with a meal replacement drink.
There are several different ones out there that taste 3000% better than the Whey protein I drank from GNC back in 1994.
Ka’chava too natural for you? Ok, but still look for something balanced and not just sugary protein.
#4 reMarkable:

Call me old school, but I still like the feel of paper and being able to roll away from the desk to work on the couch.
The reMarkable tablet will let you work where and when you want while keeping everything organized.
Recovery
#5 Whoop:

The tech in wearables is crazy and it only gets better. Long gone are the days of only tracking steps. Now you can track how hard your heart is working to recover. I also saw a report where the Whoop can detect three days before women go into labor.
A new tracker making ground is Apollo, so I look forward to learning more about them.
#6 Combo for Sleep: Eight Sleep and Ozlo Sleepbuds

We can ALL admit that we could do better to get restorative sleep. Stress, long hours, and trying to calm down in front of Netflix aren’t helping with tomorrow’s tasks. Eight Sleep is a mattress cover that circulates the correct temperature for the perfect night’s sleep. Yes, it is dual-sided and has an alarm clock.
Ozlo Sleepbuds are initially from Bose Speakers. Three engineers purchased the rights to further design and sell these buds for, well, sleeping. Not for calls, running, or you trying to look cool with your Apple buds always hanging down your cheek.
#7 Anything from Therabody

Long before massage guns came onto the market, I was using a woodworking sander for myofascial releases and massage. It was only a matter of time before people started developing better tools.
From massage guns, googles, jetboots, masks, depuffing wands, and even chairs. I’m a massive fan of theirs.
Fun

Everyone has their definition of “fun,” but hear me out. The boots represent a change in mindset, where you mentally and physically pull yourself away from your daily routine.
During my golf course building years, I’d go through a pair of these boots each season and loved every minute spent in them. Waterproof, never a blister, and felt as light as slippers.
I know I don’t get to connect with nature enough. How about you?

The more I struggled with my health and recovery, the more I cut out alcohol. Now, before you say “that’s not manly,” know that even Joe Rogan has said he’s alcohol free and better for it.
We still want to fit in, and the market is shifting, so check out the link to Total Wine to see all the new mocktails, beer, spirits, wine, and sparkling bottles.
I’ve had a blast putting this list together. If you have something on your list, please share it with me. I’d love to see what you are craving this year. Reach me at [email protected].

Stay awesome, stay confident, and keep soaring higher!
